We strategically developed the activities for children on Wednesday nights to be family friendly! The activities are flexible, so parents may bring their children at their convenience. We want to be a family friendly environment for families with busy schedules!
Supper and Songs 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
4 year olds – 5th Graders may be dropped off at the gym for a FREE Kids’ Supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by Children’s Choir at 6:30 p.m., during which children practice songs and dance moves for upcoming children’s productions.
Missions Education 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
Our Wednesday night activities for children emphasize relationship building and missions study, using the Women on Missions (WMU) curriculum, which focuses on the responsibility of believers to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Classes are located on the first floors of our sanctuary and education building and are available for
- Infants (0 – 2 years old)
- Toddlers (2 – 3 years old)
- Mission Friends (4K – 5K)
- Girls in Action (1st – 6th Grade Girls*)
- Royal Ambassadors (1st – 6th Grade Boys*)
*6th Grade boys and girls have the option to join missions classes or the MTBC Student Ministry. The choice belongs to the parents.
We are committed to the safety and security of our children. To that end, all volunteers in our children’s ministry must pass background checks. Additionally, we ask parents or guardians of infants and toddlers complete an information form at drop off so that we are aware of pertinent information about their child. We also ask that they take an identification tag with them for secure pick up at 8:15 p.m.
